Entry into the event and activities are FREE.
IMPORTANT: Lighting throughout the event will dim and/or be turned off approximately 9:20 p.m. to prepare for fireworks. PLEASE WATCH YOUR CHILDREN so they do not get separated from you. Each event entrance and all information booths will have wristbands available for your children. Please take one so that you can write your name and phone number on it just in case you do become separated.
NEW! Patriotic Superhero Stunt Show
Featuring professional BMX stunt riders performing amazing stunts & jumps on customized ramps located near the All American Food Court. The riders are the top talent from right here in Arizona and you don’t want to miss the awesome finales! Performances scheduled throughout the evening. Showtimes at 6:30 pm, 7:20 pm and 8:10 pm
Yankee Doodle Kids’ Zone
FREE carnival style and picnic style games for all ages! Sign-up for one of the picnic games in the Yankee Doodle Kids’ Zone at the registration tent (play is at your own risk).

KOOL Zones
Besides several activities indoors, there are misting trailers throughout the event to help you cool down!
Celebration Splash Zone
FREE inflatable water slides and the fire truck soak zone. PLEASE NOTE: Water slides along Center St. will end the lines at 8:45 pm to prepare for slides to come down at 9:15 pm before the fireworks display.
Freedom Express Trackless Train
FREE rides near the Celebration Splash Zone.
Tailgate Zone
Relax on the grass and enjoy the live music on the Stars & Stripes stage while playing tailgate style games. View stage schedule
Stage America
Live music throughout the night and the Salute to America program before the fireworks. Located inside the Mesa Amphitheatre. View stage schedule
Independence Hall
Hear a presentation about the Historical Flags, visit the Hall of Flags, learn more about the Revolutionary War with George Washington and sign the Declaration of Independence and Constitution.

- Naturalization Ceremony – Watch the ceremony as over 300 people become new citizens! Ceremony runs 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

- Actor’s Youth Theater performance
- Whiskey Rose
- Fallen Soldier Memorial – A breathtaking memorial honoring the Arizona fallen heroes from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Located in Building B, Palo Verde Rooms.
- America’s Arts & Culture Showcase – Crafts and displays from the i.d.e.a. Museum, Arizona Museum of Natural History and Mesa Arts Center. Watch local chalk artists create a patriotic mural and help create a mural on your own! Located in Building B.
We Make History Amphitheater
Revolutionary War Reenacting Team of We Make History (Please note: Black powder firearms will be in use. They are not dangerous to spectators but do cause loud gunshot noises.) View schedule
Patriotic Military Showcase
Get up close and personal with a variety of military vehicles and learn more about how you can support our Troops.
America’s Heritage Lane
Walk through national monuments and figures of America freedom and history. This is a place where individuals and families can be reminded of our great heritage and enjoy some fun photo ops.
All American Food Court
An array of food and drinks to enjoy!
Beer Gardens
Beer, soda and water can be purchased in the Tailgate Zone, All American Food Court and near Stage America.
