Entry into the event and activities are FREE.

Bring a water bottle!  Water fountains are available throughout the Convention Center and there will be a free water bottle refill station available courtesy of Mesa Water Resources.  Visit the FAQ page for a list of items allowed into the event.

KOOL Zones – Besides several activities indoors, there are misting trailers throughout the event to help you cool down!

ACTIVITY ZONES
Yankee Doodle Kids’ Zone – FREE carnival style and picnic style games for all ages!  Sign-up for one of the picnic games in the Yankee Doodle Kids’ Zone at the registration tent (play is at your own risk).  Games are:

**Celebration Splash Zone – FREE water features including inflatables, soak zones and a Fire truck spraying water.  PLEASE NOTE: Water slides along Center St. will end the lines at 8:45 pm to prepare for slides to come down at 9:15 pm before the fireworks display.

Tailgate Zone – Relax on the grass and enjoy the music while playing tailgate style games.

Patriotic Military Showcase – Get up close and personal with a variety of military vehicles and learn more about how you can support our Troops.

Fallen Soldier Memorial – A breathtaking memorial honoring the Arizona fallen heroes from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Located in Building B, Palo Verde Rooms

America’s Heritage Lane – Walk through national monuments and figures of America freedom and history. This is a place where individuals and families can be reminded of our great heritage and enjoy some fun photo ops.

Independence Hall – Hear a presentation about the Historical Flags, take a civics quiz, learn more about the Revolutionary War with George Washington and sign the Declaration of Independence and Constitution.   Also visit the Hall of Flags!  Flags from every state and our US territories.  This year we also have a special edition of WWI Centennial flags.

Naturalization Ceremony – Watch the ceremony as over 100 people become new citizens!

America’s Arts & Culture Showcase – Crafts and displays from the i.d.e.a. Museum, Arizona Museum of Natural History and Mesa Arts Center. Watch local chalk artists create a patriotic mural and help create a mural on your own!
